Dr. Regina Cody
Doctor of Nursing Practice
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified
The integration of physical and emotional health has been a growing trend in primary practices over the last decade. It is my desire to pursue the field of psychiatry by integrating the disciplines of medical and mental health in order to provide a holistic environment for every client. It is my belief that the approach to optimum health includes all aspects of health in order to promote long-lasting benefits.
My nursing career has spanned the last three decades, and I have been exposed to various walks of life and cultures. It is my goal to use these experiences to provide a tailored treatment plan for the clients that have been graced to serve.

Continuing Education and Experience
In 2001, I started working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in several offices within the area. It is within this role that I was able to provide both acute and chronic care for all age groups and various walks of life. In 2014, I began working exclusively in mental health by helping Veterans. In 2015-16, I began providing medical and mental health management for an in-patient geriatric psychiatric unit in a local county.
Outside the Office
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and volunteering time at a local non-profit agency, promoting chronic illness education, case management, and care coordination.
