Paul was born in Flint, Michigan, and loved growing up in the Great Lake State, where he enjoyed water sports, fishing, anything outdoors, and the Michigan State Spartans. He moved to Georgia in August of 2001 while stationed at Robins Air Force Base as an active-duty United States Air Force member. He honorably served in the Air Force as an Aerospace Mechanic and Flight Engineer from January 2001 to March 2011. Paul has experienced several deployments in combat-related areas throughout his military career. He is passionate about his fellow Veterans and their mental health and wellbeing. Paul completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Georgia Southwestern State University. Upon completion, he worked as a Critical Care Nurse at Coliseum (Piedmont) Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. He has also worked as a Critical Care Nurse at The Medical Center at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Paul also has experience working with the Veterans Health Administration in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Paul Completed his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham-School of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, specializing in children, adolescent, and adult psychiatric mental health. He resides in Macon, GA, and joined the DPS team in November 2022.
