Biography

Katherine is a resident of Chatham County for the past 3 years, previously residing in Plymouth County in Massachusetts with her husband and 2 children, dog and cat. Katherine’s interests are the beach, traveling, recently went on her first cruise to the Bahamas, reading, jigsaw puzzles, walking, spending time with family and friends. Katherine enjoys streetcar racing with her husband and going to concerts to enjoy many different genres of music.

Katherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with the adult population with severe persistent mental illness including Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, and Major Depression Disorder. Katherine has experience in both individual and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and solution focused therapy. Katherine has a degree in Criminal Justice from Curry College Milton, Massachusetts and received her master’s degree in social work at Bridgewater State University. Katherine receives continuing education credits in many areas of social work.
