Biography

Rocksan Moss, PA-C has been a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant since graduating from the South University Physician Assistant Program in Savannah, Ga.  in 2004.  Her Pre-Professional course of study was also completed in Savannah, Ga.  at Armstrong Atlantic State University. In addition, she is currently pursuing the CAQ in Psychiatry from the NCCPA to optimize the treatment of her patients.

While working in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care and Family Practice she recognized the need for more integration of the mental wellness of her patients as a vessel to improve their physical health and vice versa.  This was especially important during her years working with our active-duty Armed Forces, Veterans, and family members. Rocksan has worked locally within the clinics assigned to WACH on Ft. Stewart Ga, the Richmond Hill Medical Home, and Tuttle Army Health Clinic where she provided support for Special Operations Units within the US ARMY assigned to Hunter Army Airfield and the USCG personnel stationed at CGAS Savannah when lacking a Flight Surgeon of their own.  In addition, she has served the USAF community at various bases in the Southwestern U.S. and feels it is her calling to help support those who defend our freedom.

Rocksan is currently licensed in the state of Georgia and has practiced in Utah, California and Nevada as well. She brings over 17 years of experience as a Physician Assistant who practices with a commitment to a collaborative personalized comprehensive care plan with her patients.  For the past 3 years Rocksan has been practicing in the evaluation and medication management of psychiatric disorders with brief supportive therapy in virtual settings as well as traditional in person appointments.  She resides in the Savannah area with her family and enjoys all the Low Country has to offer. Rocksan is excited to be a part of the DPS health and Wellness team led by Dr. Samuels.
