Biography
Olivia Neeley, PA-C is a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant. Olivia received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY in 2010. She continued her education by receiving her Master of Medical Science degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN in 2013. She began practicing general medicine which included chronic care, urgent care, occupational health, travel health, and pediatrics. She practiced general medicine in Hanover, PA, and Frederick, MD, until early 2020. During her practice, she noticed a growing need for mental and behavioral health treatment among people of all ages/demographics. Once the coronavirus pandemic occurred, the need became more urgent. So, in early 2020, Olivia began practicing outpatient psychiatry in a virtual setting, providing care to patients all over the states of New York and Virginia. Olivia is eager to get back to seeing patients in person and is excited about the opportunity to do so at DPS Health and Wellness.
Olivia grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia before leaving for college. She is excited to return to the state to be closer to family, friends, and the beach! She is grateful for the opportunity to bring patient centered, holistic care to the patients of Statesboro and its surrounding communities. She believes that successful psychiatric treatment includes addressing mind, body, and soul; and that this is best achieved through a team approach. She is excited to become a part of Dr. Samuel’s top-notch team in bringing high quality psychiatric care. Olivia is currently licensed in Georgia, New York, and Missouri. She is also in the process of receiving her CAQ in Psychiatry from the NCCPA in order to treat her patients at the highest possible level of care.
